Cath Lab Tech – Travel Contract

Contract | Travel | Days | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist during cardiac catheterization procedures, cerebral angiograms, stent placements, and balloon procedures
• Operate and maintain all GE imaging equipment within a 4-room cath lab environment
• Document patient care and procedural data accurately using Meditech and MacLab systems
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio, delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced interventional setting
• Participate in on-call rotations, including STEMI call coverage, with a maximum of 15 call days during critical periods
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of RNs, Techs, and department leadership

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab Tech experience
• Demonstrated scrubbing proficiency is required
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
• Previous travel assignment experience and ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced unit
• Ability to function independently with minimal orientation
