Vascular Technologist
Location: Asheboro, NC
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Day shift, 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform vascular imaging procedures including abdominal aorta, carotid, arterial and venous Doppler studies, duplex, renal artery duplex, transcranial Doppler, and lower extremity arterial and venous studies.
- Operate and troubleshoot PACS, Philips imaging equipment, and Epic EMR systems.
- Complete and document high-quality imaging with attention to detail to support accurate diagnosis.
- Adhere to strict scheduling and compliance deadlines, including passing required pass/fail EKG exams and completing all pre-start compliance.
- Maintain current licensure and certifications, including ARDMS or CCI registration, with specific emphasis on RVS or RVT/RCS certifications.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of vascular ultrasound experience.
- Certification as an RVS, RVT, or RCS combined with RDCS, RVT, or RVS.
- Registered with ARDMS or CCI.
- Experience performing adult vascular studies, including arterial and venous duplex, carotid, and transcranial Doppler.
- Proficiency with PACS, Philips imaging systems, and Epic EMR.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Outpatient vascular imaging experience.
- Ability to perform adult vascular studies with advanced Doppler techniques.
- Flexibility to float to different campus locations within the healthcare system.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be prepared to pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance.
- Candidate must be aware of and adhere to the client’s punctuality and attendance policies.
- Travel compliance and education verification are mandatory prior to start date.
- Local radius restrictions apply; candidate’s current driver’s license required for verification.
