Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every 3rd Weekend | Holidays as Needed | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized inpatient rehabilitation nursing care for patients with diagnoses including CVA, TBI, ABI, spinal cord injury, neurological conditions, and generalized debility
• Perform medication reconciliation, interpret laboratory results, and maintain accurate patient health and allergy histories
• Monitor and document vital signs including blood pressure, respirations, temperature, and pulse
• Perform dressing changes and set up aseptic and sterile procedure trays
• Collect and label specimens including capillary, throat, urine (UA clean catch), and phlebotomy samples
• Manage telephone triage and pharmacy calls including patient refill requests

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Current BLS certification
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records – required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates will not be accepted
• Must be prepared to pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam (2 attempts allowed; no study materials provided)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in acute care rehabilitation settings
• Familiarity with post-stroke, post-aneurysm, and post-operative surgical patient populations
