Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to laboring patients throughout the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum phases
- Monitor fetal heart rate patterns and maternal vital signs, identifying and responding to changes in patient condition
- Assist with and support vaginal and cesarean deliveries in collaboration with the obstetric care team
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record
Required Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license required at time of submission
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
- Current ACLS certification
- Current BLS certification
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- COVID vaccination status documentation required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a high-volume or acute care Labor and Delivery setting
- Familiarity with travel nursing compliance requirements in Massachusetts
