Contract | Day/Evening Rotating Shifts (4x10 Hours) | On-Call and Rotating Weekends Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform generalist laboratory duties across multiple departments to support staffing needs at a Short Term Acute Care / Level IV Trauma Center
• Work a variety of shifts including mid, evening, and rotating weekends as needed
• Perform Blood Bank testing and procedures as part of generalist responsibilities
• Operate independently during assigned shifts following successful completion of training and competency verification
• Document and chart accurately using Epic electronic health record system
• Float to sister or affiliate facilities nearby as operationally required

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Medical Laboratory Scientist or equivalent clinical laboratory experience
• Generalist laboratory background with demonstrated Blood Bank experience
• Active Oregon laboratory license (may be submitted with licensure pending)
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system
• Ability to work independently after training and competency sign-off
• Must have reliable personal vehicle for this assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in an acute care or trauma center laboratory setting
• Flexibility to cover nightshift hours when needed following full competency verification
• Comfort working in a high-demand environment with variable scheduling needs
