CVOR Surgical Technologist

Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts, Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM | On-Call Required: 10 days/month including one weekend/month
Key Responsibilities
- Scrub and assist in a high-acuity cardiovascular and thoracic surgical environment
- Support a wide range of procedures including CABG, valve repairs and replacements, TAVR, VATS, Thoracotomy, Robotic Thoracic Surgery, Carotid Endarterectomy, and Ascending Aortic Aneurysm Repair
- Assist with complex cases such as Redo Surgeries, Esophagogastrectomy, IABP insertion and removal, Mitral Clip, and ASD repair
- Participate in on-call rotation including evenings, nights, and one weekend per month
- Maintain compliance with unit protocols, pre-start modules, and facility requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Minimum of 2 years of CVOR scrub experience
- NC state license or Compact license (pending acceptable for submission)
- Must be open to floating within or near the facility as needed
- Must be available for an interview within 72 hours of submission
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with robotic-assisted thoracic surgery
- Familiarity with TAVR, Mitral Clip, and other structural heart procedures
- Prior travel contract experience (first-time travelers may be considered on a case-by-case basis)
