Contract | Onsite | Night Shift (3x12 Hours, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct psychiatric nursing care to patients with diagnoses including schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder, and major depression
• Administer and manage medications using Pyxis; document patient care using EPIC and SBAR communication frameworkFloat to other units within the facility as needed, including behavioral health and emergency department behavioral health units
• Maintain a patient ratio of approximately 1:8 throughout the shift
• Participate in hospital orientation during the first week, attending required classes each day
• Complete pre-start online modules prior to assignment start date

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina or a Compact state (pending licensure acceptable at time of submission)
• Minimum of 2 years of registered nursing experience
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
• MOAB certification required (facility will provide if not already obtained)
• Willingness to float to other behavioral health or medical units within the facility
• Availability to work every other weekend

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a psychiatric or behavioral health nursing setting
• Familiarity with EPIC, Pyxis, and SBAR documentation systems
