- 13-week contract, guaranteed 36 hours per week, typically 40 hours/week
- Days shifts
- 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients in accordance with physician prescriptions and plan of care.
- Assist in implementing treatment plans and documenting patient progress.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment.
- Support patients in achieving rehabilitative goals through therapeutic activities.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license or certification.
- Current state licensure or registration as required.
- Proven experience in therapy assistance or related healthcare roles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a hospital or outpatient setting preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Strong team coordination skills.
