Job Title

• Full-time, shifts scheduled from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM, Days shift

Key Responsibilities

• Provide preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative nursing care for surgical patients in the operating room setting.
• Assess patients’ medical histories and current condition to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments following proper protocols; monitor for side effects and treatment effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care given accurately.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure smooth operation flow and patient safety.
• Educate patients and family members on procedures, care needs, and post-surgical care instructions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (preferred).
• RN license valid in Texas or a compact state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in surgical nursing or operating room preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience as a circulating nurse in the operating room.
• Knowledge of surgical procedures, aseptic techniques, and perioperative care.
• Strong assessment and communication skills.
