Registered Nurse Telemetry

Job Title

• Travel Registered Nurse - Telemetry - Acute Care

• Highlands, NC

Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, Nights, 12.5-hour shifts, 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to telemetry/PCU patients in an acute care hospital setting.
• Monitor patient vitals and clinical status, using standard Med/Surg equipment and Cerner documentation system.
• Administer medications, wound care, and perform minor procedures as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care in an affluent community with concierge service expectations.
• Follow unit-specific policies, safety protocols, and dress code (navy uniform or navy top with white bottoms).
• Maintain patient experience standards, ensuring attentive and individualized care.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS certification.
• Experience with geriatric or inpatient rehab (swing bed patients).
• Advanced wound care skills.
• Ability to work night shifts (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous telemetry or PCU experience.
• Knowledge of Cerner documentation system.
• Experience in a high-acuity or affluent healthcare environment.
