Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (occasional 3:00 PM – 3:30 AM as needed) | Every other weekend and holiday coverage required | No call

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care across all age groups within a high-acuity emergency department setting
• Manage and care for special populations including cancer patients, sepsis, medical emergencies, and behavioral health
• Support STEMI and stroke response protocols within a designated STEMI and stroke care facility
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across department specialties including cath lab, women's health, and stroke care
• Complete non-billable orientation modules as required by the unit prior to independent practice
• Float to other campus locations within the health system as operationally needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and PALS certifications required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• STEMI and Stroke facility experience required
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed, required for all RNs regardless of specialty)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for behavioral health patients in an emergency department environment
• Familiarity with cath lab support, women's health, or dedicated stroke care unit workflows
• First-time travelers welcome with qualifying experience
