Registered Nurse IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Job Title

• Registered Nurse – Night Shift (IMC/PCU/Stepdown)

• Columbus, OH

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shifts, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours per shift

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units.
• Monitor and manage patient conditions, including telemetry patients.
• Float within units of similar or lower acuity levels as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient information accurately in compliance with hospital protocols.
• Adhere to shift schedules to ensure continuous coverage.

Required Qualifications

• Valid compact or state nursing license at the time of submission.
• Minimum of 2 years of PCU/IMC/Stepdown nursing experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required; NIH certification preferred.
• Telemetry skills are mandatory.
• Ability to accept first-time travel assignments.
• Must pass Ohio fingerprinting requirements prior to start.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred.
• Experience with telemetry monitoring equipment.
• Ability to adapt to floating within units of similar or lower acuity levels.
