Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend | Holidays as Needed | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to a primarily Medical Surgical population, including observation patients, surgical patients, and surgical observation cases
• Manage patients with respiratory conditions, diabetes (including new diabetics and complication-related cases), and general medical surgical diagnoses
• Care for palliative, end-of-life, hospice, and psychiatric observation patients as appropriate
• Document and manage patient records using EPIC electronic health record system
• Float to other facility campuses within the health system as needed
• Adhere to facility scheduling standards, including zero-tolerance policies for tardiness and unexcused absences

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during onboarding (2 attempts permitted; study materials are not provided)
• EPIC electronic health record experience required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (no local candidates accepted); current driver's license must be included with submission to verify address

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience as a Charge RN
• Telemetry or cardiac monitoring background beneficial given EKG exam requirement
