Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery (13 Weeks Contract)

• Austin, TX

Schedule / Job Type

• Travel / Contract, 13-week assignment, Night shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to labor and delivery patients in a high-volume, Level IV unit
• Administer medications and monitor fetal and maternal well-being using advanced equipment
• Perform procedures such as SVD, cerclages, C-sections, and TOLAC
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (Meditech)
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with unit policies and safety protocols

Required Qualifications

• Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and SVE competency certifications
• Experience with EFM, C-Section circulation, and internal monitor placement
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery nursing
• Skilled in using fetal monitoring equipment such as Novii, JADA, and US
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and adapt to rotating weekends

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous employment in a high-volume (Level IV) unit
• Experience with high-acuity patient care and complex procedures
• Strong team player with a positive attitude
