Surgical Technologist (CVOR Experience Required)

Location: Corpus Christi, TX

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time | Days shift | 10.5-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and caring for pre-operative patients, ensuring adherence to hospital standards.
• Maintain aseptic techniques and monitor for potential breaches in sterile environments.
• Prepare the Operating Room by setting up tables, instruments, and supplies based on the surgical case.
• Establish and maintain sterile fields, pass instruments and sutures to surgeons, and assist as directed.
• Transport patients to and from the Operating Room and position them appropriately for surgery.
• Identify and care for biological specimens during surgical procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a Surgical Technology program or accredited LVN/LPN program.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• Minimum 2 years of surgical technologist experience, including CVOR strongly preferred.
• Certified Surgical Technologist credential or LVN/LPN license.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• 2+ years of neurosurgery experience.
• Experience in General, Orthopedic, Plastic, Uro, ENT, or Vascular surgery.
• Proficiency in scrub techniques across multiple specialties, including transplants, open heart, robotics, etc.
