• Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, rotating shifts, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts (Night and Day options)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for patients in a lower acuity cardiac unit within the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Stepdown setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Perform IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and conscious sedation as required.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures, including EPIC documentation.
• Float to different units within the organization as needed, maintaining flexibility with patient care responsibilities.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a PCU or similar cardiac setting.
• Valid nursing license (compact or state).
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Strong skills in IV insertion, telemetry, and conscious sedation.
• EPIC EHR experience.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Cardiac experience preferred.
• Experience working in lower acuity cardiac units or stepdown units.
