Registered Nurse

Location: Lexington, KY

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Night shifts, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours per shift

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and document comprehensive patient assessments in accordance with scope of practice and hospital policies.
• Develop individualized care plans, prioritize patient needs, and determine desired outcomes collaboratively with patients and their families.
• Implement nursing interventions and therapies confidently, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Monitor, recognize, and communicate changes in patient condition to the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide patient and family education tailored to cultural and developmental needs.
• Facilitate discharge planning by executing orders, delivering discharge education, and coordinating with case management.

Required Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kentucky.
• BLS certification.
• ADN or ASN degree.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Previous nursing experience in an intensive care unit (ICU) setting.
• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills, with attention to patient safety and comfort.
