Cath Lab Tech – Radiology/Cardiology

Contract | Days | 5x8 Hours (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures within a Cath Lab setting
• Operate and maintain radiologic and cardiology imaging equipment during procedurespossibly float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate facilities as needed
• Participate in low-frequency STEMI call rotation, approximately every third week
• Document and chart patient information accurately using EPIC electronic health records
• Adhere to facility compliance standards, safety protocols, and holiday work expectations

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of Cath Lab experience required
• Active SC State License (SCRQSA) required at time of submission – no pending licenses accepted
• BLS certification required
• ARRT or RCIS/CCI certification required; if RCIS, both SCRQSA and SCBME are required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify at travel rate
• Former permanent staff must have been separated for a minimum of 5 years before returning as a traveler

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with EPIC charting system
• Experience with STEMI call protocols and interventional cardiology procedures
• Ability to adapt to floating assignments within a hospital system
