Registered Nurse – Vascular OR (CVOR)

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) | 36 Hours/Week | Onsite | Monday–Friday (scheduled per unit needs)

Key Responsibilities

• Circulate complex vascular surgical cases including endovascular, TEVAR, FEVAR, EVAR, AAA, carotid, thrombectomy, amputation, AV fistula, and cold leg procedures
• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care in a high-acuity vascular operating room environment
• Participate in on-call rotation, averaging 6–8 calls per month including occasional weekend and holiday call coverage
• Utilize electronic health record system (EPIC) for accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and wear a radiation monitoring badge at all times during applicable procedures

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or multi-state compact RN license must be in hand at time of contract start
• Minimum of 2 years of vascular OR circulating experience required
• Must be able to independently circulate complex vascular cases (scrubbing experience not required)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications – both must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Radiation badge required (provided by agency)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Candidates with 5 or more years of vascular OR experience may be considered even without prior travel nursing experience
• Familiarity with a broad range of vascular procedures including endovascular and open vascular techniques
• Experience working in a Level I Trauma Center, teaching facility, or Magnet-designated hospital environment
