Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00) | Onsite | Some Weekend Shifts Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to high-risk labor and delivery patients, including those with pre-eclampsia, diabetes, and multiple gestations
- Manage active labor patients including induction, augmentation, VBAC/TOLAC, and maternal emergencies
- Care for antepartum patients at assigned ratios (Labor 1:2, Antepartum 1:3)
- Float between units as needed within the facility or sister facilities nearby
- Complete required onboarding and annual compliance modules prior to and during assignment
Required Qualifications
- Valid Washington State RN license or Compact RN license (required at time of submission)
- Experience in acute care high-risk Labor and Delivery
- Proficiency in antepartum care, induction/augmentation, and management of maternal emergencies
- Minimum of 2 professional references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with VBAC/TOLAC management
- Background in caring for high-risk obstetric conditions including pre-eclampsia, diabetes, and multiple gestations
- Prior travel nursing experience in a Labor and Delivery setting
