Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00) | Some Weekend Shifts Required | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to high-risk labor and delivery patients, including those with pre-eclampsia, diabetes, and multiple gestations
- Manage active labor patients including induction, augmentation, VBAC/TOLAC, and maternal emergencies
- Care for antepartum patients at established nurse-to-patient ratios (Labor 1:2, Antepartum 1:3)
- Float between units as needed within the facility or nearby sister facilities
- Complete required onboarding and annual compliance modules prior to and during assignment
Required Qualifications
- Valid Washington State RN license or active Compact RN license (required at time of submission)
- Experience in acute care high-risk Labor and Delivery
- Proficiency in antepartum care, induction/augmentation, and management of maternal emergencies
- Willingness to work some weekend shifts as part of the contracted schedule
- Ability to submit all time-off requests upfront at time of submittal
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience managing patients with pre-eclampsia, diabetes, or multiple gestations
- Familiarity with VBAC/TOLAC protocols and active labor management
- Prior travel nursing experience in a Labor and Delivery setting
