Full-time, 2nd shift (Mids), 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Transport patients and assist with patient movement within the surgical department.
• Lift and move heavy equipment or supplies as required for surgical procedures.
• Clean and turnover operating rooms to ensure readiness for subsequent procedures.
• Support surgical staff with necessary tasks to maintain a sterile environment.
• Assist with documentation and record-keeping related to surgical cases.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ohio licensure in surgical technology or related field (must be active and current).
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks typical for surgical support roles.
• Willingness to work early, mid, and orientation shifts as required.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 18 months of combined permanent experience in surgical technology or related specialty within one location (preferred).
• Experience working in hospital or clinical surgical environments.
• Ability to recognize ECG rhythms and understand sterile procedures.
• Past experience working within the Cleveland Clinic or similar healthcare systems.

• Travel compliance and all certifications must be current.
• Candidates must provide two recent references from managers or supervisors within the past 12 months.
• All active certifications must be clear with no pending issues.
• Candidate must demonstrate competency on assessments during orientation.
• Exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements for nurses and CSTs; others must be nicotine-free.
• Travelers approved for 18-month extensions with a required 6-month break thereafter, subject to client approval.
• All documentation, including background checks, must be completed within specified timeframes.
