Echo/Ultrasound Sonographer – Radiology/Cardiology

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 5x8-Hour Shifts, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (occasional 8:30 AM rotation) | Rotating weekends (1 in 4) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiography studies including 2D, 3D, strain imaging, and image enhancement techniques
• Conduct Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE), Stress Echo, and Endo TE procedures
• Operate GE and/or Philips ultrasound equipment to acquire and document diagnostic cardiac images
• Float to other system facilities as needed to support departmental staffing requirements
• Maintain accurate documentation and records within the EPIC electronic health record system

Required Qualifications

• Active ARDMS RDCS (AE) registration – Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer credential required
• Current BLS certification
• Hands-on experience with GE and/or Philips ultrasound systems
• Proficiency in TEE, Stress Echo, and Endo TE procedures
• Experience with 3D strain and image enhancing techniques
• Active EPIC experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a multi-campus or health system environment with float responsibilities
• Familiarity with travel contract compliance processes and ability to meet strict pre-start deadlines
