Travel Registered Nurse – Neuroscience ICU (NSICU)

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 12-bed Neuroscience ICU at a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Care for neurology patients post-thrombectomy and post-TPA administration
• Manage post-neurosurgery patients requiring specialized monitoring and intervention
• Perform and assist with unit-based procedures including CRRT, bedside EVD management, and A-line monitoring
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner electronic health records
• Float as needed to other ICUs or step-down units per unit policy

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Ability to work 6 weekend shifts per scheduling period and adhere to self-scheduling unit requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Neuroscience or Neuro ICU setting
• Familiarity with Baxter infusion pumps
• Experience with CRRT and external ventricular drain (EVD) management
