Job Title

• Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

• Part-time, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care within the IMC, PCU, or stepdown units, ensuring compliance with medical protocols.
• Float between various medical and surgical units, including Medical, Laulima, and occasionally Cardiovascular units, as needed.
• Utilize departmental equipment such as Meditech EMR, pyxis, wound vac, and chest tubes.
• Follow unit-specific training and orientation programs to ensure proper onboarding and competency.
• Maintain professional nursing attire, including clean scrubs, and adhere to department dress code.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Hawaii nursing license obtained prior to start date.
• Minimum of 2 years of pediatric, adult, or critical care nursing experience.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts with flexibility to float between units.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Additional certifications such as PALS, TNCC, ENPC, Procedural Sedation are a plus.
• Experience with Meditech EMR, pyxis, wound vac, and chest tubes.
• Strong adaptability to working in various medical/surgical units with varying patient ratios.
