Registered Nurse NICU

Job Title
• Registered Nurse - NICU Level III and IV

Location
• Hickory, NC

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, night shifts (3x12) with optional additional shifts if available; overtime after 48 hours per week

Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized nursing care to neonates in a Level III and IV NICU setting
• Monitor patient vital signs and administer treatments according to physician orders
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Maintain accurate documentation in Meditech electronic medical records
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards
• Assist with patient and family education as needed

Required Qualifications
• Valid State Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact license in North Carolina or the applicable state
• BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications (must be current and via AHA)
• Minimum of 2 years NICU experience in a hospital setting
• Experience with Meditech EMR preferred
• Must include current NURSYS report and Qualivis Cover Sheet with profile, including email address
• Willingness to work scheduled nights and weekends (minimum of EOW)

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Previous experience working in Level III/IV NICU environments
• Ability to float within hospital department as required
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
