Contract, Night shifts, 36 hours per week, 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Operate MRI equipment to perform advanced imaging procedures including Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/Neck, Chest, Spine, Musculoskeletal, Diffusion, Perfusion, Spectroscopy, and more
- Prepare patients for MRI procedures, ensuring proper protocol adherence for adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
- Independently operate Siemens (Avanto and Sola) and GE Premier MRI systems, demonstrating competency on both
- Accurately manage patient data and images within EPIC and Visage (PACS) systems
- Collaborate with medical staff and assist with special procedures as needed
- Adhere to all safety and compliance guidelines, including proper equipment use and patient safety protocols
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of MRI technologist experience
- MRI procedure experience in multiple areas including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, and musculoskeletal studies
- Certification in radiologic technology (ARRT(R) or ARRT(MR))
- BLS certification required
- Valid NC or Compact radiology license or pending approval
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Siemens and GE MRI systems
- Experience working in outpatient, inpatient, ER, or community hospital settings
- Ability to work independently on night shifts within a fast-paced environment
