Registered Nurse – Neuro/PCU (Stepdown)

Contract | Days | 3x12 or 4x12 Hours (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Neuro/PCU stepdown setting with a patient ratio of 1:4–5
• Monitor and assess patients using telemetry and neurological evaluation tools
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Float within scope to like units or sister facilities as needed to meet staffing needs
• Participate in emergency response team assignments as required, including during hurricane season (June–November)

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start date
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a relevant clinical setting
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Telemetry competency required
• No first-time travelers accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Neuro or PCU/Stepdown unit
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
• Flexible scheduling availability to meet unit needs
