X-Ray Technologist – Radiology/Cardiology

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 or 26 weeks) | Nights | Thursday, Friday, Saturday | 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform acute care imaging independently across departments including ER, ICU, NICU, PICU, and OR
• Conduct bedside and portable X-ray procedures as well as trauma imaging
• Assist with C-arm procedures and fluoroscopic studies such as barium swallow and esophagram
• Document and chart patient imaging information using Epic EMR
• Float to other units or campuses as needed based on census, limited to areas of demonstrated competency

Required Qualifications

• Active SCRQSA license required — no pending licenses accepted
• ARRT (R) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; candidates with 1 year must have full-time experience at a Level I Trauma and Children's Hospital with demonstrated OR and fluoroscopic study experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience preferred
• Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
• First-time travelers will not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2 or more years of experience in acute care radiology settings
• Experience in both Level I Adult Trauma and pediatric trauma environments
• Ability to adapt quickly to facility-specific equipment and training requirements
