Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and provide speech-language therapy services to students with communication disorders
• Develop and implement IEP goals and monitor student progress
• Participate in ARD meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff
• Provide training to school staff on communication strategies and best practices
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Supervise SLP assistants when assigned

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Texas SLP License (TDLR)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC)
• Knowledge of assessment tools, therapy strategies, and behavior management
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and maintain emotional control under stress

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 1 or more years of supervised clinical experience
• Prior experience in a school-based setting
