Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 13-week contract, rotating shifts (nights and days)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform clinical reviews and provide direct nursing care in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).
• Float to NICU and Acute Care Pediatrics as needed based on staffing requirements.
• Adhere to shift schedules including nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) and rotating day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM).
• Ensure compliance with travel regulations and document certifications and licenses appropriately.
• Complete required modules and documentation, including Epic charting if applicable.
• Maintain high standards of patient care and uphold facility policies regarding background checks and certifications.

Required Qualifications

• Valid State Registered Nurse license (pending licenses accepted, must have license in-hand by day before start date).
• Minimum of 12-hour shift availability, rotating schedule.
• BLS and PALS certifications.
• Peds cardiac experience a plus.
• Ability to submit documentation with VA license pending (RRT license must be in-hand at submission).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Epic electronic charting experience.
• Previous PICU, NICU, or Pediatric acute care experience.
• Knowledge of travel compliance requirements and RTO policies.
