Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (6:30–17:00 or 7:30–18:00) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and assist with cardiac catheterization procedures including left and right heart catheterization, PCI, balloon angioplasty, stent placement, and thrombectomy
- Support STEMI interventions with strong procedural competency
- Assist with EP device management and pacemaker/defibrillator device placement
- Operate and assist with advanced cardiac support devices including Impella insertion and Rotablader procedures
- Participate in on-call rotation including after-hours and weekend call coverage (approximately 10 call shifts per month)
- Float within the facility or to affiliate locations as required
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand prior to start date
- Minimum 18 months of Cardiac Cath Lab / EP nursing experience
- Strong hands-on experience with STEMI intervention
- Proficiency with EP devices
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Graduation from a nursing program accredited by ACEN or CCNE
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Impella device insertion and management
- Familiarity with a broad range of interventional cardiac procedures including Rotablader and thrombectomy
- Comfort with on-call scheduling including weekend and after-hours rotations
