Key Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests across various departments including hematology, immunohematology, immunology, bacteriology, microscopy, and routine chemistry, adhering to established protocols.
• Collect blood samples via phlebotomy, including arterial puncture, capillary, and venipuncture, applying age-specific techniques as needed.
• Calibrate, standardize, and maintain laboratory instruments, performing quality control, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
• Prepare and manage reagent supplies required for testing and validate results for accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist in developing and updating laboratory policies, procedures, and training materials.
• Follow all safety protocols, including biohazard, chemical hygiene, infection control, and universal precautions.

Required Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related field from an accredited institution.
• Certification or eligibility for certification/registry as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT).
• Knowledge of laboratory principles, techniques, and equipment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a clinical laboratory environment.
• Familiarity with laboratory information systems and automation equipment.
