Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech)

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 10-hour shifts, Monday–Friday (40 hours/week), rotating day off | On-call as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures in a high-volume, fast-paced siloed IR environment handling 60–65 cases per day across 7 procedure rooms
• Provide scrub tech support for a full range of IR cases, including all line placements for inpatient and outpatient services
• Operate Siemens imaging systems (Artis icono, Artis Q, Artis zee) in single-plane configurations
• Manage cases neck-down with occasional light neuro overflow such as thyroid biopsies
• Float to an additional IR location as needed
• Participate in orientation sessions including nursing orientation components on a bi-weekly schedule

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on IR and scrub experience required
• ARRT Radiography certification required (must be in hand at time of start)
• Kansas State Board of Healing Arts licensure required (may be applied for upon offer)
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required
• New graduates will not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3 or more years of IR experience preferred
• Experience in a large hospital setting strongly preferred
• Peripheral and neurovascular procedural experience preferred
