Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (5x8, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM) | No weekends required | No on-call required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized wound care nursing services within a Magnet-designated, Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital setting
- Assess, treat, and manage patients with complex wound care needs in accordance with WOCN standards
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using Epic electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Float to like units within the facility as needed to support patient care demands
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with BSN required; South Carolina RN license required prior to start
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Wound Care RN (WOCN)
- Current BLS certification required
- WOCN certification required (continence certification not required)
- Proficiency or ability to learn Epic electronic health records
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Pediatric nursing experience strongly preferred
- Prior experience in a Magnet, teaching, or Level 1 Trauma hospital environment
