• Night shifts, 4 shifts per week, 12 hours per shift

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in high risk, high acuity labor and delivery environments following AWHONN guidelines.
• Function as a Baby Nurse during delivery, supporting immediate postpartum newborn care until transfer to postpartum unit.
• Circulate during procedures, including eye care, thigh assessments, and administration of medications such as Heparin, Insulin, Magnesium Sulfate.
• Monitor patient diagnoses and support midwifery clients, OBs, and community care clinics.
• Document and adhere to electronic fetal monitoring protocols and EPIC system requirements.
• Support unit operations in a fast-paced, high-volume delivery setting averaging 15 patients daily and 500-600 deliveries monthly.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of Washington.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in high acuity, high risk labor and delivery settings.
• Current certifications: BLS, NRP, proof of these certifications required at submission.
• Existing supervisory references covering the last 3 years.
• Ability to pass clinical review and compliance with all travel regulations.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS and AWHONN Advanced or Intermediate certifications preferred.
• Experience with electronic fetal monitoring and EMR systems, specifically Epic.
• Experience with postpartum and antepartum patient care.
