Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult and geriatric patients presenting with complex diagnoses including oncologic emergencies, COPD, pneumonia, ARDS, GI bleed, sepsis, pulmonary hypertension, and autoimmune disorders
• Manage and monitor patients on mechanical ventilation, arterial pressure monitoring, cardiac monitoring, and pulmonary artery catheters
• Perform and assist with specialized procedures including CRRT, chest tube management, central venous catheter care, plasmapheresis, and chemotherapy administration
• Administer complex medication regimens and support patients enrolled in clinical trials
• Utilize electronic health record system for accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patients undergoing bronchoscopy or endoscopy related to underlying pulmonary and gastrointestinal conditions

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license (compact or state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required; first-time travelers are not eligible for this role
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications
• Proficiency with mechanical ventilators and IV starts
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system required
• Nursing degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for hemodynamically compromised patients in a high-acuity medical ICU setting
• Familiarity with oncologic treatment protocols and related emergencies
• Prior travel nursing experience
