Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care / Progressive Care / Stepdown unit setting
• Monitor and assess patients requiring a higher level of observation than a standard medical-surgical floor
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Respond to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate nursing interventions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, care, and outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active, valid RN license – compact or Ohio state license must be in hand at time of submission
• Demonstrated PCU/IMC/Stepdown clinical competency
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Two professional references required; at least one must be from a manager, director, or formal leadership role (charge RN acceptable as second reference; no coworker references)
• Must be willing and able to complete Ohio fingerprinting requirements promptly upon contract signing

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a PCU or Stepdown environment
• Familiarity with compliance-driven credentialing timelines and processes
