Travel Cardiovascular Surgical Technologist (CST) – CVOR

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scrub and surgical technologist duties in a high-volume cardiovascular and multi-specialty operating room environment
- Assist with a broad range of surgical procedures including cardiovascular (open heart), total joints, spine fusions, neurosurgical procedures (including craniotomies), robotic procedures, general surgery, and urology
- Operate and maintain surgical equipment including electrosurgical units, Neptune suction systems, and patient positioning devices
- Utilize the Meditech documentation system to accurately record intraoperative information
- Support the Surgery Board Runner and collaborate with unit staff to ensure efficient OR workflow across 17 operating rooms
Required Qualifications
- Active CST National Certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of surgical technologist experience
- Current BLS certification
- Previous experience circulating in orthopedic and spine surgical procedures
- Strong critical thinking and customer service skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with neurosurgical procedures including craniotomies
- Familiarity with robotic-assisted surgical procedures and general surgery
- Prior experience with Meditech documentation system
