Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, nights, rotating or straight nights, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Intermediate Care / Progressive Care Unit / Stepdown unit.
- Monitor telemetry and perform IV starts with proficiency.
- Maintain patient safety through accurate assessment and responsive care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient treatment plans.
- Adhere to clinical protocols and documentation standards utilizing Epic electronic health records.
- Float within units of similar or lower acuity levels as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent PCU or IMC nursing experience.
- Valid RN license (compact or state).
- ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Proficiency in IV starts and telemetry monitoring.
- Epic EMR experience.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel or agency nursing experience.
- Comfortable with unit flexibility and floating.
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
