Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry setting
- Monitor and assess patients on telemetry, identifying and responding to changes in condition
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
- Float to other units as needed to support staffing and patient care demands
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona or compact licensure eligibility
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry nursing
- Ability and willingness to float to other units as needed
- Availability for on-call shifts in addition to scheduled day shifts
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an observation unit setting
- ACLS certification
- Experience working in a critical access or rural hospital environment
