Travel - Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health ED (682)
Location: Asheville, NC
Schedule / Job Type: Travel, Days shift, 12.5-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized emergency behavioral health nursing care in a fast-paced ED environment
• Assess, plan, and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
• Monitor patient condition and respond to behavioral health crises with appropriate interventions
• Document patient interactions and treatments accurately in compliance with hospital policies
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members
• Adhere to all safety, compliance, and confidentiality standards during assigned shifts

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina or the ability to obtain
• Minimum of 2 years of emergency department nursing experience
• Proven experience working with behavioral health patients in an ED setting
• Ability to work a 12.5-hour day shift, with flexibility to adapt to shift needs

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Experience working with complex mental health cases in acute care
