Registered Nurse (RN) – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Location: Columbus, OH

Schedule / Job Type: Day shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care for adults and geriatrics, primarily focusing on newly diagnosed acute leukemia patients
• Monitor patient vital signs and manage telemetry, including interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Administer IV therapies, blood products, and manage central and peripheral lines
• Assist with feeding tube care and other patient management procedures
• Ensure infection prevention protocols and fall prevention measures are followed
• Collaborate with the team for comprehensive patient care

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Ohio or Compact RN license in hand at the time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in acute or hematology/oncology settings
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Computerized charting experience with EPIC system
• Ability to adhere to infection control and patient safety protocols

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Oncology or hematology certification (e.g., ONS Chemo)
• NIHSS certification
• Experience with rapid response teams and complex patient management
