Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 72–80 hours per two-week pay period

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care for Labor & Delivery and Nursery patients in a rural community hospital setting
  • Support couplet care for mothers and newborns throughout the postpartum period
  • Perform intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring
  • Assist with approximately 45–50 deliveries per month
  • Assume charge nurse duties as assigned
  • Float to assist other departments as needed, not as a primary nurse

Required Qualifications

  • Current, active Hawaii Registered Nurse (RN) license — required prior to start
  • Demonstrated Labor & Delivery nursing experience
  • Couplet care experience
  • Intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring competency

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience in a rural or community hospital environment
  • Prior charge nurse experience in a Labor & Delivery setting
