Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Night Shift | 72–80 hours per two-week pay period
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for Labor & Delivery and Nursery patients in a rural community hospital setting
- Support couplet care for mothers and newborns throughout the postpartum period
- Perform intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring
- Assist with approximately 45–50 deliveries per month
- Assume charge nurse duties as assigned
- Float to assist other departments as needed, not as a primary nurse
Required Qualifications
- Current, active Hawaii Registered Nurse (RN) license — required prior to start
- Demonstrated Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- Couplet care experience
- Intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring competency
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a rural or community hospital environment
- Prior charge nurse experience in a Labor & Delivery setting
