Registered Nurse ICU

Job Title

• Travel Registered Nurse - ICU - CCU

Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, Full-time, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide critical care nursing services to adult patients in an 8-bed CCU setting.
• Monitor and manage ventilators, drips (sedation, vasoactive), and CVC lines.
• Perform procedures such as bronchoscopy, placement of CVC lines, chest tubes, and bedside scopes (EGD, colonoscopy, PEG, trach).
• Comply with unit policies and documentation using MedHost system.
• Collaborate with unit staff for patient care and adjustment to acuity fluctuations during shifts.
• Adapt to floating policies and ensure quality patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Active ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Knowledge of vents, drips, and care of CVC lines.
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience.
• Ability to work three night shifts per week.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with critical care procedures and bedside scopes.
• Strong understanding of ICU equipment such as Mindray Datascope monitors.
• Previous experience in a small community hospital setting preferred.
