Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Days shift, 40 hours per week, rotating shift

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care for patients undergoing endoscopy and gastrointestinal procedures.
• Coordinate patient assessments, establish care plans, and implement interventions in accordance with patient needs.
• Reassess patients systematically, monitor progress, and document outcomes.
• Conduct point-of-care testing as required and participate in patient education and discharge planning.
• Ensure all care activities comply with clinical standards and organizational policies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and interventions.

Required Qualifications

• Current New Mexico RN license or valid Compact state license.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in endoscopy, gastroenterology, or digestive health nursing preferred.
• Knowledge of patient rights and ability to communicate effectively with patients of all developmental ages.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to adapt care based on patient assessment.
