Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) patients, ensuring safety and quality standards.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and operate medical equipment such as Medfusion pumps and GE monitors.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Document patient progress accurately in the electronic medical record system (Meditech/CPN).
- Follow unit policies, including dress code standards and infection control practices.
- Maintain compassionate interaction with patients and families.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Level 3 NICU experience.
- Current nursing license (RN).
- BLS certification.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in NICU settings.
- Familiarity with using advanced NICU equipment and procedures.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and staff teams.
