Registered Nurse – Electrophysiology (EP) Lab

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | 4x10 Hours, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM | Call: 1 week every 2 months
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care within an Electrophysiology (EP) Lab setting, supporting a wide range of cardiac procedures
- Assist with procedures including cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, cardioversion, arrhythmia induction, and conduction studies
- Support insertion and programming of AICDs, pacemaker/defibrillator lead extraction and removal, and pacemaker insertion
- Assist with Left Atrial Appendage (LAA) closure and cardiac implant closure device procedures
- Perform baseline measurements and participate in on-call responsibilities as scheduled
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic electronic health records
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license – compact or state license required and must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 2 years of Electrophysiology (EP) Lab experience
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system
- Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
- Ability to comply with state-required fingerprinting and credentialing processes in a timely manner
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with the full scope of EP Lab procedures including LAA closure and AICD programming
- Familiarity with travel nursing compliance and credentialing requirements
