Key Responsibilities

• Perform physical therapy evaluations and treatments across inpatient and outpatient settings
• Provide care in inpatient settings including acute, ICU, Med/Surg, observation, SNF, and occasionally OB
• Deliver extensive outpatient physical therapy services in a hospital-based outpatient PT clinic
• Manage a full daily schedule of 5–15 patients with appointment slots ranging from 30–45 minutes and one-hour new patient evaluations
• Support inpatient mobility progression from acute to SNF level of care, including discharge planning

Required Qualifications

• Active Hawaii Physical Therapist license (or ability to obtain promptly prior to start)
• Experience treating a broad range of outpatient diagnoses with independence and thoroughness
• Competency in acute, ICU, and SNF inpatient physical therapy practice
• Knowledge of discharge planning processes in an inpatient hospital environment
• Ability to work independently in a rural healthcare setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a rural or critical access hospital environment
• Familiarity with ER and ICU physical therapy protocols
• Experience managing high-volume, mixed inpatient and outpatient caseloads
