Contract | Days | Onsite | Shifts available: 0700–1930, 1100–2330, 2300–0700 | Every other weekend and every other holiday required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit serving post-surgical and acute medical patients, including orthopedic, urology, GYN/ONC, neurosurgery, vascular, ENT, plastics, and GI diagnoses
• Manage nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4–5 (days) and 1:5–6 (nights) in a 15-bed unit
• Titrate IV drips including heparin and occasionally nitroglycerin, Cardizem, and insulin per protocol
• Monitor telemetry in coordination with remote GE telemetry technicians
• Collaborate with charge nurses, house supervisors, nursing assistants, and respiratory therapy to deliver comprehensive patient care
• Float to other adult medical/surgical nursing units as required

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in good standing
• Current BLS certification (required)
• Minimum 1–2 years of acute care nursing experience
• Proficiency with IV drip titration
• Ability to work every other weekend and every other holiday

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a post-surgical or telemetry nursing environment
• Familiarity with CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen therapy
• Experience working alongside nursing assistants and respiratory therapy teams
